My first selection is the Gran Habano Gran Robusto Corojo #5 ( 6 X 54 ). Don't let the name fool you, it's a Toro size! This cigar features a thick, dark Corojo leaf paired with rich long-fillers from Mexico, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. The result is a medium to full stick that gives off a wonderful bouquet of spices and complex, rich flavors. This cigar is a must smoke and a great creation by George and his dad.
You know that AJ Fernandez is the hottest blender, grower, and maker out there currently. He collaborated with Altadis USA to create this wonderful stick, the H. Upmann by AJ Toro ( 6 X 54) at his factory in Esteli. This cigar is rich, complex, and balanced. It is naturally sweet and is solidly made. When AJ and Altadis USA get together only GREAT things happen!
Matt Booth has been making great cigars for the past 20 or so years! The Room 101 Doomsayer Toro ( 6 X 55) is a cigar I would consider boutique-like. Those who have smoked it love it. Many have not heard of it. You get a chance to smoke it here! What to expect is a cigar expertly rolled with Honduran, Nicaraguan, and USA Pennsylvania tobaccos, rolled inside an Indonesian binder and an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The last cigar is another sleeper to many. The Alec Bradley Blind Faith Toro ( 6 X 52) should be gracing your humidor right now!!! The Blind Faith is the second cigar made by Alan's talented kids and that is pretty cool having your kids follow you in the biz! This cigar is made in Danli at Raices Cubanas and features the best Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves. Vintage Corojo 99’ and Criollo 98’ tobaccos from Nicaragua are used for the fillers. It’s a medium to full-bodied smoke that’s brimming with rich, balanced flavors of earth, pepper, nuts, cocoa, and a sweet finish. This cigar flat-out delivers!!!
