BOOM! Here comes a full-bodied flavor bomb packed with ligero!!! This might be the fullest sampler I have to offer. It's the first one I created and is one of my personal favorites. If you like it strong, you will love this Cigar Samplers offering!
Again Room Quatro Maduro Vibrato ( 6 X 54) box-pressed is first up. Rafael Nodel is a friend and no stranger to being in the spotlight. This cigar is a follow-up to his 95 rated and #2 cigar of the year as rated by Cigar Aficionado. The star of this cigar is the oily Mexican San Andres wrapper that covers great Dominican long-fillers. Flavors include chocolate, earth, black pepper, and oak on every puff you take. This cigar is a proven winner!
The Joya De Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo ( 6 X 52) box-pressed is a staple in my humidor and is one of my most favored cigars ever! This cigar was given to me over a decade ago by Steve Saka when he was running things at Drew Estates. We were attending the first cigar festival for Nicaragua, sitting poolside and he handed me a "test blend" to try. Turns out this "test blend" was the Joya De Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo. I've been hooked since that evening! This cigar starts out with 3+ year aged tobacco and is covered by a lovely corojo wrapper. Dark, oily, and tasty best describe this stick! As a bonus, I've added this is the La Niveldora size. Translated from Spanish, it means bulldozer. You will be blown away by this flavor bomb!
Hailing from the DR's oldest factory, the La Aurora ADN is another full-throttled hit. This Robusto is the real deal ( 5 x 47) and features some exotic tobaccos. Dominican wrapper, a Cameroon binder, and aged Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvania long-fillers, a rare strain of tobacco called Andulla makes this smoke unique and very special. Andulla is some ancient tobacco and used to be smoked only by pipe by Dominican natives hundreds of years ago, fun fact! It is wrapped tightly and buried to ferment and solidify. I could go on for hours about this tobacco as it is special and cool. But, I have much to do and will not geek out! This cigar has strength, sweetness and will be a memorable experience for you.
This last cigar, La Duena Robusto ( 5 x 50), is a true Pepin Family blend. You see, La Duena means the "lady owner" in Spanish. Pepins daughter Janny blended this cigar with hubby Pete Johnson. The cigar is crafted by Don Pepin at his factory in Esteli. This cigar boasts a dark, chewy Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper, atop a fully aged core of Connecticut Broadleaf and Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers. This "family" collaberation is full-bodied, balanced with hints of spice, leather, and dark chocolate!
Here's the skinny. I LOVE this Cigar Sampler! It is full-bodied and offers a true variety of sizes and shapes. Even better, price these cigars out and you'll see the value here. You would pay over $36.00 for these cigars in a local brick and mortar. My price is just under $25 and I'm adding, as always, FREE shipping! BOOM indeed.
