These Connecticut Valley-grown Habano meido Tiempo tobacco leaves are combined with a Connecticut broadleaf binder, fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, and wrapped up inside a well-aged Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. The result is a medium-bodied cigar with notes of cream, cedar, spice, and some natural sweetness.
La Aroma De Cuba #2 Robusto. The La Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial #2 ( 5 X 50 ) was revamped in 2020. This "newer" version of the 93 rated is kicked up a bit with a new Ecuadorian Habano wrapper taken from higher primings on the plant, so it's much more potent and presents heartier flavors than its predecessor. The filler and binder still hail from the volcanic soils of Ometepe in Nicaragua. You can still expect notes of cedar, pepper, and a smooth finish with a pleasant aroma.
