The Camacho Nicaraguan Barrel-Aged Robusto ( 5 X 50 ) is bold and unique! I tried this cigar at the annual trade show a few years back and it was memorable! The blend is a Habana 2000 wrapper coupled with Dominican fillers and Nicaraguan grown Corojo leaves aged in rum barrels for 5-months. This medium to full-bodied treat is teaming with nuances of toasty tobacco along with leather and oak, rounded out with slight caramel flavor from the aged rum barrels.
The Rocky Patel Twentieth Robusto Maduro ( 5 X 52) is a box-pressed treat celebrating Rocky being in the business for an amazing 20 years! The blend consists of a Honduran wrapper containing long-fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. Tasting notes include flavors of leather, espresso, cinnamon, mocha, earth, wood, and white pepper. Rocky really outdid himself on this one!
The Alec Bradley Prensado Robusto ( 5 X 52 ) is the second box-pressed offering in this sampler. The blend is comprised of a Honduran Corojo wrapper leaf covering an authentic mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers. A sweet and spicy profile brings hints of red peppers and cinnamon with a touch of sweetness in a smooth, box-pressed vitola. 96 rated and #1 Cigar of the year say enough about this classic smoke.
The Avo Heritage Robusto ( 4 7/8 X 50 ) is a medium to a medium full-bodied cigar with rich complex flavors. This cigar was a collaboration of Avo Uvezian, cigar Master Hendrik Kelner, tobacco experts Eladio Diaz and Manuel Peralta, the result is one of Avo's best cigars in my opinion. The flavor is rich and boasts hints of warm spices, a natural sweetness, and hints of pepper throughout the smoking experience.
