First up is the Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto ( 5 X 50 ) is medium in body and flavor, your palate will be delighted by the hints of white pepper, espresso, cedar, and spice. Handmade with tobaccos from the legendary Lot 23 farm in Nicaragua, the Perdomo Lot 23 Robustos are draw tested every time and are a treat to smoke every time. Nick Perdomo knows cigars and makes some great ones! The Lot 23 should be a staple in your humidor.
The La Aurora 1985 Maduro Robusto ( 5 X 50 ) is made in the oldest factory in the Dominican Republic. This cigar represents their 4th installment in their "Time Capsule" series. The blend consists of a dark Brazilian Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers that combine to produce a medium-bodied smoke. The tasting notes include oak, earth, leather, nutmeg, black pepper, and cocoa. This is a fantastic cigar to enjoy in the fall or any time of the year!
The Avo Heritage Robusto ( 4 7/8 X 50 ) is a medium to a medium full-bodied cigar with rich complex flavors. This cigar was a collaboration of Avo Uvezian, cigar Master Hendrik Kelner, tobacco experts Eladio Diaz and Manuel Peralta, the result is one of Avo's best cigars in my opinion. The masters may be gone but, the flavor and tradition remain! The flavor is rich and boasts hints of light spices, a natural sweetness, and touches of pepper throughout the smoking experience.
The Punch Rothschild ( 4.5 X 50 ) is the fullest cigar in this bunch. Although it is crafted in Honduras, the cigar is laced with Nicaraguan tobaccos. Punch is a perfect illustration of a full-bodied stick! Enjoy this cigar after a full meal. It will sneak up on you.
